Silent Hill: Past Life Trade Paperback Now Available

Written by Tom Waltz, and illustrated by Menton3, Silent Hill: Past Life is the earliest tale in the Silent Hill world. The four part comic series released a few months back, but now a convenient paperback with all four issues combined is available for purchase. Amazon even has it on sale for $9.46. That’s nearly half off!
We loved the short series due to its macabre art style and satisfying, but eluding story. It’s also a good way to get ready for the release of Silent Hill: Downpour later this year. Comic reading Silent Hill fans can’t go wrong.

Left 4 Dead Update April 22nd

Versus Survival
Can you survive against your friends?

The first Survivor team sets the time. The second team tries to beat it. Then the first team tries to beat the second team's time. Then the second team tries to beat the first team's time. And then the... you get the idea. Rounds keep switching until someone fails to beat the previous time.

This is a great way to try Versus. Rounds are only as long as you can keep beating each other’s times. There are no rushing Survivors. Infected spawns get quicker as the time increases. It is mayhem filled with all the weapon perks and items. What’s not to like? Give it a try.

When to Tier?
The last poll asked when to place tier 2 weapons?

The winner was to place Tier 2 weapons unpredictably in Map 2 followed by unpredictably placed in Map 1. After those two the rest are all distant runners muddled together.

So this makes it clear you want unpredictable tier 2 weapons when they are first available. We will try them on map 2 first and go from there. Remember, polls aren’t the final word. You never really know how something is going to work until you test it. We use this as a place to start testing and then react from further testing.

Portal 2?
With Portal 2’s release this week we were wondering, do you plan on playing the Co-op section of Portal 2?

Clint City Idols

 Urban Rivals

For those of you who didn’t watch Clint TV last night, here’s a rundown of the finals of Clint City Idol! Cherry opened the show and set the night on fire with her feminist pop songs. Stella won the hearts of all her intergalactic fans despite singing in Glinkon dialect. And although Bianca’s musical outpourings weren’t a huge hit with the young, that wouldn't have stopped the judges, who’d been paid-off by the Uppers, from voting for her. But when Russel underwent his transformation and started howling at the moon, there was no doubt about it - a voice like that definitely deserved first prize!!

Resident Evil 6 Will Be “Different” Says Capcom

It turns out Capcom doesn’t know exactly what to do with the Resident Evil series. Not in a whole, but the canonical games. Translated by our friends at Rely On Horror, Capcom’s Masachika Kawata told Marcaplayer that Resident Evil 6 will be completely different. He’s not sure whether the game will stick to a horror or shooter genre, but he’s adamant on the fact that the game will be a reinvention of the series.
“The series will see a complete renovation with the next entry on every level. But we can’t forget about all the previous entries that have led to the creation of many possibilities for the franchise. I can’t say if we’re going to make it (Resident Evil 6) survival horror or a shooter, but I can say that it’ll be totally different.”, Kawata states.
The last time we heard that, we were blessed with Resident Evil 4, but it’s follow up Resident Evil 5 brought good graphics rather than refreshing gameplay. We only hope that Resident Evil 6 changes up the series in a positive way, and goes toward the survival horror route. Resident Evil was a pioneer of the survival horror genre, and we wish to see it become that yet again; hopefully Capcom can deliver.

A Toronto-based fan took to Cherry Beach, east of the city, which has been transformed into a twisted fairground with rabbits in bags, dead fish and demented rides in the Michael J. Bassett-directed Silent Hill: Revelation 3D. Inside you'll find two behind-the-scenes videos where said fan walks through the entire set. Nice!

Adelaide Clemens, Kit Harington, Sean Bean, Radha Mitchell, Deborah Kara Unger, Carrie-Anne Moss, and Malcolm McDowell all star.

The work continues on the Digital Delivery (DD) project. Our programmers estimate they have finished about 75% of the total project. There are several areas of the project that are still being developed, including a rating system for purchases. Current estimates are that the first stage of the project will be ready to launch by the end of next week.
